• GIMP (alt2 Photoshop): Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages.
• KompoZer (alt2 Dreamweaver): Complete web authoring system that combines web file management and easy-to-use WYSIWYG web page editing.
• Zoho (alt2 MSOffice?): comprehensive suite of web-based programmes for small businesses.
• Google SketchUp: Create, modify and share 3D models.
• Alternative Software: Find open source software alternatives to well-known commercial software.

Disable feature:

1. Download & open wp-config.php file from your root directory.
2. Add the following line immediately after php closing tag:

   define('WP_POST_REVISIONS', false);

3. Now save & upload wp-config.php file.

Delete autosaved copies:

1. Open phpMyAdmin at your hosting panel.
2. Click on the SQL tab
3. Paste the following:

   DELETE FROM wp_posts WHERE post_type = "revision";

4. Click GO and you’re done!
